Composition

Each tablet contains:

• Amoxicillin IP 500 mg
• Potassium Clavulanate equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 125 mg

Mechanism of Action (MOA)

Amoxicillin

• A broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic.
• Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, causing bacterial death.

Clavulanic Acid

• A beta-lactamase inhibitor.
• Protects amoxicillin from degradation by resistant bacteria.
• Extends the antibacterial spectrum of amoxicillin.

Combined Effect
