Composition: Amlodipine 5 mg

ALMOD-5 is a widely prescribed antihypertensive medication belonging to the calcium channel blocker class. It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, allowing smoother blood flow and reducing the strain on the heart. This helps effectively control high blood pressure (hypertension) and reduces the risk of cardiovascular complications such as heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.
Amlodipine 5 mg is also used to manage chronic stable angina, helping reduce the frequency and severity of chest pain episodes.

This dosage is commonly prescribed when patients need stronger blood-pressure control or when the 2.5 mg dose is insufficient.

Side Effects
