COMPOSITION - Bilastine 20 mg + Montelukast 10 mg Tablets

DESCRIPTION - BILASTA-M is a combination anti-allergic therapy used in allergic rhinitis and associated symptoms. Bilastine is a selective H1 antihistamine that blocks histamine receptors, reducing sneezing, nasal congestion, and watery eyes. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that inhibits leukotriene-mediated inflammation in the airways. Together, they provide effective control of allergic symptoms and respiratory inflammation.

Uses 

  • Allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial)
  • Stuffy or blocked nose
  • Sneezing and watery eyes
  • Nasal congestion
  • Allergy-associated bronchial symptoms

Side Effects 

  • Headache

  • Drowsiness (rare with Bilastine)

  • Dry mouth

  • Abdominal pain

  • Fatigue

 Precautions / Other Important Details 

  • Use cautiously in patients with liver impairment

  • Avoid alcohol while on therapy

  • Not recommended during pregnancy without medical advice
