Mechanism of Action (MOA)

Omeprazole

  • Omeprazole is a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI).
  • It blocks the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in stomach parietal cells.
  • This significantly reduces gastric acid production.
  • Helps heal ulcers and prevents acid reflux-related damage to the esophagus.

OMEE Capsules are indicated for:
