Composition

  • Omeprazole IP 20 mg

Mechanism of Action (MOA)

Omeprazole

  • A Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI).
  • Blocks the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in stomach parietal cells.
  • Reduces gastric acid secretion and promotes healing of ulcers and reflux-related damage.

Domperidone

  • A prokinetic and antiemetic agent.
  • Increases stomach and intestinal motility.
  • Prevents nausea, vomiting, bloating, and gastric fullness.

Combined Effect

  • Reduces stomach acid production.
  • Improves gastric emptying.
  • Relieves acidity, heartburn, reflux, and indigestion.

Precautions
