Composition: Amlodipine 5 mg + Atenolol 50 mg

Almod-AT is a combination antihypertensive medication used for the effective management of high blood pressure (hypertension) and related cardiovascular conditions.
This combination brings together two different classes of medicines:

  • Amlodipine – a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens the blood vessels, improving blood flow.

  • Atenolol – a beta-blocker that lowers heart rate, reduces the heart’s workload, and helps in controlling blood pressure more effectively.

Together, they help maintain controlled blood pressure, reduce strain on the heart, and decrease the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other complications associated with long-term hypertension. This combination is especially beneficial for patients who require two medicines to achieve optimal blood-pressure control.

Uses

  • Recommended for patients not controlled with single therapy

  • Usually taken once daily, with or without food

  • Take at the same time every day for best effect
