CLOPIRIN AP-75

• COMPOSITION - Clopidogrel 75 mg + Aspirin 75 mg Tablets

CLOPIRIN AP-75 is a dual antiplatelet therapy. Clopidogrel is a P2Y12 ADP receptor inhibitor that prevents platelet aggregation by irreversibly blocking platelet activation. Aspirin inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), reducing thromboxane A2 production and platelet aggregation. Together, they reduce thrombus formation and lower the risk of cardiovascular events.

USES

• Prevention of myocardial infarction (heart attack)

• Prevention of ischemic stroke

• Acute coronary syndrome (ACS)

• Post-angioplasty / post-stent placement

• Prevention of atherothrombotic events

Side Effects

• Gastric irritation or dyspepsia

• Increased bleeding tendency

• Bruising

• Nosebleeds (Epistaxis)

• Rarely, gastrointestinal bleeding

Precautions / Other Important Details 

• Use cautiously in patients with history of peptic ulcer or bleeding disorders

• Avoid in active pathological bleeding

• Monitor for signs of unusual bleeding

• Use with caution in liver impairment

• Inform doctor before surgery or dental procedures
