PANTO PLUS - DSR

COMPOSITION - Pantoprazole Sodium 40 mg + Domperidone 30 mg (Prolonged Release) Capsules

DESCRIPTION - PANTO PLUS DSR is a combination of a proton pump inhibitor and a prokinetic agent. Pantoprazole suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺ ATPase enzyme in parietal cells, reducing acid production. Domperidone enhances gastrointestinal motility by blocking dopamine receptors, promoting gastric emptying and reducing reflux. Together, they provide effective relief from acid reflux and associated symptoms.

Uses 

• Gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD)

• Acid reflux

• Heartburn

• Dyspepsia

• Nausea associated with acid disorders

Side Effects

• Headache

• Dry mouth

• Diarrhea

• Abdominal discomfort

• Rare cardiac rhythm disturbances (Domperidone-related)

Precautions / Other Important Details 

• Use cautiously in patients with cardiac arrhythmias

• Avoid prolonged use without medical supervision

• Use cautiously in liver impairment

• Take before meals for best results

• Not recommended in patients with known QT prolongation
