Vitaglyde-M-500

Composition: Vildagliptin 50 mg + Metformin 500 mg

Vitaglyde-M-500 is a dual anti-diabetic combination containing Vildagliptin 50 mg and Metformin 500 mg. This combination provides powerful and balanced glucose control by improving insulin secretion, reducing liver glucose production, and enhancing insulin sensitivity. Vitaglyde-M-500 is widely used in patients whose blood sugar is not adequately controlled with Metformin alone.

Uses:

• Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus management

• Control of fasting and post-meal blood sugar

• Improved HbA1c control

• Weight-neutral therapy with better sugar stability

Side Effects:

• Nausea, diarrhea, stomach upset

• Headache

• Dizziness

• Rare: lactic acidosis

• Rare: liver enzyme elevation

Other Details:

• Must be taken with meals

• Avoid alcohol

• Regular kidney and liver function monitoring advised

• Not suitable for severe renal impairment
