Description
AMIYES-10 contains Amitriptyline, a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA).
It works by increasing levels of certain brain chemicals (serotonin & norepinephrine), helping improve mood and also widely used in chronic pain and nerve-related conditions.

Side Effects
Common:
- Drowsiness / sedation
- Dry mouth
- Constipation
- Weight gain
- Blurred vision
Serious (rare):
- Irregular heartbeat
- Severe dizziness
- Suicidal thoughts (especially in early therapy)
- Seizures
Precautions
- Avoid alcohol (increases sedation)
- Do not stop abruptly (taper required)
- Use cautiously in heart disease
- Not recommended in recent heart attack patients
- Use carefully in elderly patients
- Avoid driving or operating machinery
- Monitor for mood changes
