Description
Atorvastatin is a statin (lipid-lowering agent) used to reduce cholesterol levels and prevent cardiovascular diseases. It works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, reducing bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides while increasing good cholesterol (HDL).
