Composition

Each capsule contains:

• Atorvastatin – 10 mg
• Aspirin – 75 mg
• Clopidogrel – 75 mg

Description

This is a combination therapy for cardiovascular protection. It includes:

• Atorvastatin (cholesterol-lowering statin)
• Aspirin + Clopidogrel (antiplatelet agents)

Together, they help prevent blood clots, reduce cholesterol, and lower the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

Uses

• Prevention of heart attack (myocardial infarction)
• Prevention of stroke
• Management of coronary artery disease (CAD)
• Post-angioplasty or stent placement
• High-risk cardiac patients

Side Effects

Common:

• Gastric irritation
• Headache
• Muscle pain
• Nausea

Serious:

• Bleeding risk
• Liver enzyme elevation
• Severe muscle damage (rare – myopathy/rhabdomyolysis)

Precautions

• Take after food to reduce gastric irritation
• Avoid alcohol
• Use cautiously in:
  • Liver disease
  • Bleeding disorders
  • Peptic ulcer
• Regular monitoring of liver function & lipid profile
• Do not stop suddenly without medical advice
