CLOTRIMAZOLE TOPICAL SOLUTION USP

Description

Clotrimazole Lotion I.P. is a broad-spectrum antifungal preparation used for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin. It works by inhibiting fungal growth by damaging the fungal cell membrane. The lotion form is especially useful for application on hairy areas and large skin surfaces.

It is meant for external use only.

• Treatment of Ringworm (Tinea corporis)

• Treatment of Athlete’s foot (Tinea pedis)

• Treatment of Jock itch (Tinea cruris)

• Treatment of Cutaneous candidiasis

• Relief from itching, redness, and scaling due to fungal infections

• Useful in fungal infections of scalp margins (as prescribed)

• For external use only

• Avoid contact with eyes and mouth

• Do not apply on open wounds

• Use for full prescribed duration

• If no improvement within 2–4 weeks, consult doctor
