Description

Doxycycline injection is a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic used for treating severe bacterial infections when oral therapy is not feasible.

Mechanism of Action (MOA)

Doxycycline inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, preventing amino acid addition to growing peptide chains.
