Composition:

• Ranitidine Oral Solution I.P.

Description:

Keldine Solution contains Ranitidine, a histamine H2-receptor antagonist that reduces stomach acid production. It is used in the treatment of acid-related disorders such as gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The liquid form ensures easy administration, especially for pediatric and geriatric patients.

Mechanism of Action:

Ranitidine works by blocking H2 receptors in the stomach lining, thereby reducing the secretion of gastric acid. This helps in healing ulcers and relieving symptoms like acidity and heartburn.

Uses:

• Acid reflux (GERD)
• Peptic ulcers
• Gastritis
• Heartburn
• Zollinger–Ellison syndrome

Side Effects:

• Headache
• Constipation or diarrhea
• Nausea
• Dizziness (rare)
