Composition

Paracetamol + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine HCl + Sodium Citrate

Description

A multi-symptom pediatric cold syrup that reduces fever, allergy symptoms, and nasal congestion.

Mechanism of Action (MOA)

• Paracetamol: Antipyretic & analgesic
• Chlorpheniramine: Antihistamine → reduces allergy
• Phenylephrine: Nasal decongestant
• Sodium Citrate: Mucolytic → loosens mucus

• Cold & cough
• Nasal congestion
• Runny nose
• Allergic rhinitis

Side Effects

• Drowsiness
• Dry mouth
• Mild gastric upset
• Irritability (rare in kids)

Precautions

• Avoid overdose (paracetamol toxicity)
• Use as per pediatric dose
• Caution in liver disease
• Avoid with other antihistamines
