- Pantoprazole 40 mg

2. Description
PANTOYES-D is a combination of a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) and a prokinetic agent.
- Pantoprazole: Reduces stomach acid secretion by inhibiting the proton pump in gastric cells
- Domperidone: Improves gastrointestinal motility and helps prevent nausea and vomiting
This combination provides effective relief from acid-related disorders along with gastric motility improvement.
3. Uses
Commonly prescribed for:
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Acidity and heartburn
- Gastritis
- Peptic ulcer disease
- Nausea and vomiting
- Bloating and indigestion
- Functional dyspepsia
4. Side Effects
Common:
- Headache
- Dry mouth
- Diarrhea or constipation
- Abdominal pain
- Dizziness
Less common:
- Flatulence
- Skin rash
Serious (rare):
- Long-term use: Vitamin B12 deficiency
- Bone weakness (with prolonged PPI use)
- Cardiac rhythm issues (rare, due to Domperidone)
