🧾 Description

DNS (Dextrose Normal Saline) Injection is a sterile, non-pyrogenic intravenous fluid containing a combination of:

• Sodium Chloride (0.9%)

• Dextrose (5%)

in Water for Injection.

It provides both fluid replacement and energy supplementation. DNS helps restore electrolyte balance while supplying glucose for immediate energy. It is widely used in hospitals, nursing homes, and emergency care settings.

• Weakness due to fever or infection

• Post-operative fluid support
