THUMB SPICA SPLINT

Healko Thumb Spica Splint is designed to immobilize and support the thumb while allowing free movement of other fingers. It helps reduce pain, inflammation, and strain in the thumb joint and wrist area. The ergonomic design ensures proper alignment and stability, making it suitable for both injury recovery and preventive support.

Material Used:

• Breathable elastic fabric

• Neoprene / soft foam padding

• Rigid or semi-rigid thumb support splint (aluminum/plastic stay)

• Adjustable Velcro straps

• Skin-friendly inner lining

• Thumb sprain or strain

• De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis

Side Effects (Rare):

• Mild skin irritation

• Sweating or itching

• Redness if worn tightly

• Temporary stiffness after prolonged immobilization

Precautions:

• Do not fasten too tightly; avoid restricting blood circulation.

• Remove during sleep unless medically advised.

• Avoid use on open wounds or infected skin.
